All her labs, X-rays, and various tests have come back negative and revealing that he is a healthy little lady other than that she is below her weight. So that still leaves this momma asking why she isn't gaining her weight and what we need to do to get this weight on her.
We are working with lactation for each feeding to make sure she and I are Doug everything we need to do to feed her well. She has been asking to eat, which is new and great!!!!!! She is also so much more alert after feedings, which is nice. We haven't seen her little eyes much before today.
I'm still not sure what the doctors' plans are for how long they will keep her, etc., but I'll say again as long a Kirby is taken care of, I'll stay as ling here as they'll let me so I can focus on this little one and getting her some yummy calories.
