A week ago right now, I was getting settled into a hospital room with my two week old. Today? Today she was weighed in at a healthy 9 lbs gaining 6 oz after leaving that hospital room just 3 says ago. Such relief!!! She is doing so much better. She is so much more alert, she is asking to eat, and she is eating well. She does have a pretty monster fussy period anywhere from 10-2, but it appears to be getting better. I am finally figuring out some if her mannerisms. Often her cry for being tired and struggling rainfall asleep could be confused for hunger. I've learned to hold off if at all possible and try to help her to sleep before assuming she is hungry. She does not like a dirty diaper, and man now that she is wanting to eat, when she is hungry get out of her way. She has quite the set if lungs on her.
I'm so thankful for everyone's prayers and support as we fattened this baby back up. And I'm so thankful and blessed that my baby girl is healthy. Here's to hoping she continues to pack on the pounds and gets those awesome rubberband arms that I live on chubby babies.
