Jump to Daddy

I enrolled Kirby in "Beyond Parent and Child" swim lessons at the Y.  He loves to be in the water.  We were   going to swim just about once a week, and he was doing a great job.  I thought this would be a fun activity for us on Saturday mornings.  Boy, was I right.  He struggled the first week or two because he wanted to play as we always play at the pool - how he wants to.  He did NOT want to follow the instructor's plans, but he has warmed up to it.  He jumps to us without holding our hands, going under, and coming up with wide blinking eyes and a big smile on his face.  "Again...again" he begs.  He has finally warmed up to floating on a noodle, and he loves the songs we sing as a group.  He kicks his little feet and splashes with his arms kinda like he's swimming butterfly.  I love being in the water with him.  And not that I can't blame him, he is not crazy about being on his back.  Seriously...stupid stroke!

And that would be Kirby under that splash.

Jumpin' to Momma.
