These days Kirby is really into "counting" letters and numbers that we see everywhere - on trucks, street signs, the cashiers' lights at target and Kroger - everywhere. We'll be driving down the road, and he'll say, "do you like this song?", and he'll take a big breath and sing his ABC's.
Well, today, Kirby was in his room getting dressed, and I was in the bathroom brushing Susanna Rose's teeth. I could hear him sounding out letters. Then I heard him say, "mom my shirt has your name!!" Sure enough. My baby just sounded out and read "mom". Proud momma.
