16 weeks

I had my 16 week appointment yesterday, 10/24/12.  A good friend of ours kept young Kirby so I could slip in and out of the OB without any worries from the little guy!  Thank you, Sara!  My appointment was uneventful, which is great.  Pee in the cup, take the blood pressure, and hear that amazing little heartbeat.  Baby Holli-dos was swimming around and my doctor had a hard time keeping the Doppler on him/her because he/she was so active.  :)  Sounds like a little someone I already know.  Heartbeat was a strong154 and oh-so-sweet to hear.  My next appointment is scheduled for 11/19, and it is the favorite 20-week-anatomy-scan.  Yay.  We'll get to see this little critter.  But sorry, folks.  We're still going to keep it a surprise.  We have a long time to wait to learn if we have a daughter/son, granddaughter/grandson, niece/nephew.
