They're her kryptonite

Susanna Rose is quickly rising to the throne of "fit queen" so it wasn't too much of a surprise that she threw a big one at target today.  But oh my.  It was the fit to end all fits thus far for this little lady. By no means do I want to celebrate her throwing fits. I promise I don't. No mom wants to be in the middle of target or even her own living room during an epic fit. So this is not a celebration of her fit. It is just to mark how stinkin cute she was moments leading up to said fit. 

Girlfriend has found her kryptonite...SHOES. Recently she has gone through a small growth spurt and the weather has changed so I took we to target to buy some much-needed shoes. Against my "no-pink" mantra, I put the hot pink cowboy boots on her (mistake #1) and took her out of the cart to walk around to see how they fit (mistake #2), and then I took them off and put her back in the cart (mistake #3). She was crying "shoes!!!!!  Shoes!!!!" She was arching her back and locking her knees so I couldn't strap her in. She was a mess. Shoes. Hot pink cowboy boots. I just wanted to climb in a hole and get out of there as fast as I could WITHOUT those shoes thanks to her fit. 

But the moments just prior to the meltdown of her lifetime were just so stinkin cute. She was strutting her stuff up and down aisle B22 and so happy in those shoes. So happy.
