Happy birthday Lay Lay

Saturday was "our angel, Lay Lay's" birthday. Keith and I are making a conscious effort to keep Leighton's spirit and legacy a part of our children's lives. I decided we would let go red balloons for her on her birthday so the kids and I headed to Kroger for balloons. Kirby insisted that we have to have cupcakes for a birthday party so I obliged. Yum!!!!  

When we were pulling into the garage, Kirby asked if Lay Lay was at our house. My, how I wish she were, buddy!!!!  I just let him know she was in heaven and always in out hearts. 

We played with the balloons all morning. 

And later in the day we went outside and sang happy birthday to Lay and sent our balloons off to her in heaven. Despite the rain, Susanna Rose REFUSED to remove her sunglasses just cause...well, cause she's 18 months. 

Happy Birthday, Lay!!!  We move you very much.
