So many milestones

It is only Wednesday, and we have had a week full of milestones already.

Kirby's top left tooth popped through on Monday AM, and the right tooth is just on the surface.  Perhaps this might explain this past week's early AM wake up calls.  Really early!  Other than that, he has handled this teething bit like a champ...lots of slobber and lots of chewing on everything.  This poor kid doesn't have a fighting chance to not have a gap between those two top teefers, and it looks like a gap there will be!  :)  Sorry, buggy!

Kirby has been working sooo hard to master the art of transitioning from lying down to crawling position, and from crawling position to sitting up.  I have found him twice sitting up in his crib in the AM or after naps, and to watch him try to maneuver this transition is kinda funny!  He works so hard and sometimes looks like he's striking a really difficult yoga pose!  He must have the core strength of a gladiator!

This one is just too cute!
Crawling is near in his future.  He will move a hand forward or a knee in efforts to reach for a desired toy or ME, and fall, but he gets up and tries again.  It won't be long.  I better get to "Kirby-proofing" this house because he is a very curious little boy, and I have a feeling he will be trying everything out!

Just this AM Kirby was Bah-Bah-Bah-ing.  Too cute!  Love his little voice.

Sunday night I was reading him a lift-the-flap book, and he reached up and lifted the flap.  Wow.  That was the first time he did that too.  I can't even imagine how much that little brain is learning, so much, so fast!

Reading with Dad
And I thought I'd share a picture of my favorite little helper helping me with one of my least favorite chores...sheets.  If only he could help put the sheets on the bed!  :)

Look what I found in the laundry
