Another good appointment

This week marked 29 weeks!  Wow, it is really approaching quickly.  I had my monthly appointment on Friday afternoon.  The usual - prick the finger, step on the scale - YIKES!!!! - pee in the cup, which I forgot to do so they excused me this time but reminded me to always pee in the cup.  Then a new thing - measure the belly.  I measured 27 cm (I'm assuming), and she said that the measurement should be within 1-2 of the weeks so we're good.  Then she listened for the heartbeat.  MMMMMMMmmmmmm, my baby's heartbeat, I love that swooshing noise.  Baby Holli was a strong 152 fabulous beats per minute.  She identified my sleepy hands all the way to my armpit as pregnancy carpal tunnel.  I've discovered that sleeping propped up keeps that pesky right arm from falling asleep so I think that's what I'll stick with for now.  Of course, if that is the worst of my pregnancy woes, I'll stop my complainin'!!!  It has been a joyous experience thus far.  I hope it continues to be so.

He/she is definitely moving a lot more these days and packing a much stronger punches and kicks, which I must say I'm loving.  :)  This baby likes sweets, too!!  He/she tends to kick a little extra after a glass of chocolate soy milk, an apple, or better yet a cookie or ice cream!  I am officially at every-other-week appointments; no more monthly appointments.  All that means is that I'm getting closer and closer to holding this little one in my arms.  Boy, I cannot wait for that day!!!!  Till we meet, Baby Holli!!!
