This family has lifted the kids and me up during Keith's residency. They have fed us. They have entertained us. They have cared for us. They have provided me beer. 😉 They have included us on holiday dinners and festivities. They have made us their family. You know we don't choose our families, but we do choose our friends, and I praise God daily for the Kestners in our lives. I'm so grateful for for wabash and the kappa sigma brotherhood. They have kept me afloat, especially Kathleen, when I knew no one and was dying for somewhere to go and something to do. They have love the kids and me because they love Keith.
So I have no idea what I will do without them, but I do know that for now I am going to soak it up and enjoy my Monday and Thursdays with the Kestners. And maybe Friday and Saturday. Love them. Did I mention that yet?
