Let's Do This

When we bought our house here in Fishers almost five years ago, we had a small list of home improvements we wanted to do to make it our home.  It wasn't until we sold the condo in Johnson City this past summer that we were able to start tackling that list.  Just in time to get the house ready to go on the market.  Moving is going to be hard, but now that we are making this home OUR home, it will be even harder.

Have I ever mentioned how amazing this man is?  Long hours at the hospital and now long hours with his toolbelt.  He has pulled up carpet and laid down new hardwood; pulled up old hardwood and laid down tile; and hung a beautiful backsplash in the kitchen.  I'm ready to see the end project and am really enjoying my beautiful downstairs.

I don't know why I didn't think to take before pictures.  But here are the new floors.  The whole area looks bigger and brighter and CLEANER.
