Goodbye ole green

We bought my little green Altima back in 2006. I remember searching and test driving until we thought we had found the car that would take us through residency. Well, that little car almost did. Almost. She had almost 209,000 miles on her and has safely taken me and my babies all over middle and Eastern Tennessee and back and forth from Indy lord knows how many times. 

Thanks ole green for safely getting us everywhere. 

Out with the old and in with the new. 

So I spent a good week and a half test driving mini vans until I found the perfect one. (Oh and when I say testi driving minivans, I mean with two kids in tow!!!!  Ahhhhhh!!!). But we did find the perfect van for us and I love everything about it especially these faces. 

We are officially riding in style with automatic doors as the kids had so hoped for. We have so much room and even a DVD player (ONLY FOR LONG TRIPS) as I have told the kids. And I love that we have space for my parents and Keith's parents when they come to visit. We can all ride in one car. It's the small things in life right? I'm already looking forward to packing up the van and heading home for a weekend. We won't be squished. That is for sure. 

And my favorite thing about this sale and trade in is that leighton's legacy will be spread to the next person who buys this little car.  Now to get a new one for the van.
