Wednesday we woke up to a light snowfall on the ground. i was very excited for Kirby to wake up and see the snow. When i went to his room, opened up his curtains and drew the blinds and asked him to look outside and tell me what was on the ground. He gazed for a while and then gasped, "Grabble!!!!" (For those of you who don't know the boy well, you should understand that a light dusting of gravel all over our yard would be one of his dreams come true). I told him it was snow, to which he responded, "I want to make a snowball and throw it at you!?" Little smarty-pants.
We skipped breakfast and suited up to head outside and play in the snow. Yay!!! Ignorantly I didn't put any mittens on him. He didn't last long. He was crying in the backyard that he had snow on himself. (Ummmmm....yeah. You're playing in the snow)!!!! I was talking to myself about how I needed to get him some gloves, and that was all he cried for the rest of the morning, "I need some glubs!"
He proceeded to tell me in our car-ride later in the day that it was winter. (I don't know why I felt the need to do it), but when I tried to explain to him that it was still fall and not quite winter, he said, "No The leeebs are fell, and it snowed!" How can I argue with that reasoning???

He is one smart cookie!!!! I think he won that argument :)
