We hit our parish picnic last night and had a blast. Mass was on the blacktop and oooohhhhhh so hot. We followed it up with cocktails with our church family, dinner, and bounce houses. Susanna rose has no fear and was climbing all the big kid slides and flying down them.
We were hesitant to stay long enough for the fireworks. I was certain the kids would hate it and how loud they were, but we atuck it out. I'm so glad we did. They loved them, and I loved watching them with their church friends. We love our church.
