Saturday night was graduation for fifth year residents. I haven't been in the past, and it was such an awesome night. It was a beautiful evening to honor the graduates and their families, and I couldn't help but daydream of when Keith's day will be here...just two short years.
Thank you, memaw and pepaw for making it possible for Keith and me to have some time to reconnect and have some fun.
We had a great weekend with grandparents and the kids too!! Saturday we attempted the zoo, but we left too late and were up against some ridiculous traffic to get there so we bailed and went to the splash pad where memaw splashed around in her clothes and had a blast with Kirby. Even Susanna rose splashed in her clothes too! We went to mass Saturday night so we could head to the zoo bright and early Sunday morning, and I'm so glad we did. We beat the crowds, and we beat the heat. Soooo much fun. I absolutely love our zoo. Even though it is the same every visit, we mange to see something differnt each visit to higight that trip. Last visit a few weeks back was the sea lion doing tricks for fish right in front of us on the sidewalk; this visit, it was the lions roaring. I've never heard it.
We finished our weekend with a lunch at the weber grill which was yummmmm!!! And then we headed our different ways until July 4th.
