All you asked for for your birthday was a "cake twain that puffs." And then I became the crazy mom searching for a train cake that puffs. He loved it. It was adorable, and it was delicious!!! Happy Birthday, Kirby!!!!
You talked for several days about this cake you desired and told me, Memaw, and Mimi that you didn't want anyone to eat it so I was a little nervous that cake-time might create a crazy fit from you, but you dug right in and giggled with your "fwiends" while they dug in too.
You cracked us all up when you went face first and took a huge bite out of the top.
You might have only asked for a cake, but your dad and I got you your first bike too. I'm afraid it might be a little big for now, but it isn't like mother nature is cooperating at all to allow us any outside time or anything. Here's the first bike!!!!
This little Lightning McQueen bike is equipped with a car carrier case that we filled with some of your cars. I joked with your dad that you might not care one bit about the bike, but that you'd rather be excited about those cars, and you were!!!!!
It took a little convincing to get you "in the saddle."
We love you, Kirby James!!! Happy third birthday!!!!!! More on the sappy Momma note when I can get down on paper all the joy you bring to my life.
MSTH:
ReplyDeleteMom and I were so happy to be able to attend all the birthday festivities last weekend. Kirby was great with all his friends. He appeared to be very interested in his new bike, and I agree that the cars were probably more interesting to him.
Susanna Rose is becoming more beautiful, if that is possible, every time I see her. I am glad that she finally warmed up to me. I was ultimately able to make her smile.
Mary Susanne, you have a fabullous family that we are proud of.
Love,
Dad/Deda
