11months

Oh Sunannie Rosie, you are 11 months. I cannot believe it.

I cannot believe how spunky you are becoming and what a happy little toddler you are about to be.  Honestly, you are so very serious and it might be hard to get you to crack a smile and chuckle your little chuckle, but you are so happy especially considering how uncomfortable and difficult you were when you were your littlest.  Sorry, sista, but you were.  Or at least momma thought you were.  But I didn't mind all the snuggles you gave.  You aren't much of a snuggler these days.  You prefer to be ON.THE.MOVE!!!  You want down at just about all times so you can discover this crazy world around you.  You love to climb the stairs.  You crawl right to them and turn around to catch my eyes and grin.  You chuckle with about every step you climb, and you try to eat every little piece of debris you find.  Your brother would turn around and hand me the trash as though to say, "HEY mom.  Get vacuuming!!!"  You on the otherhand.  You say, "HEY mom.  Thanks for the goods."  And you are beginning to love your little walking toy.  I hate to wish you to walk, but it is beginning to be outside season here in the land of snow (seriously, we had the craziest snowiest winter of all time!), and I'd love for you to be walking so you can run around and play with your brother rather than be on the ground trying to eat leaves or in my arms squirming to get down.  But girlie, you take your time.

You love to eat.  When I try to hand you "baby" food, you get mad when you look at our plates and notice I'm not handing you what we have.  You want it all.  And you had your first tastes of ice cream, and I do believe you are a big fan.

You have crazy hair.  And you aren't into bows.  You don't like headbands except to pull them down and into your mouth.  And you have just figured out how to take these snazzy little rubberbands out of your hair.  You look like Pippi Longstockings or a unicorn most days.  :)

Nothing cheers you up quite like your brother or a couple verses of twinkle twinkle little star, and you are clapping your hands, stomping your feet, and shouting hooray with your arms up in the air when you're happy and know it.  Oh that smile!!!!

We love you Sunannie Rosie and cannot wait to celebrate that big special birthday with you.

  1. SR, you are the cutest little Pippy ever! Look at your smile and your bright eyes. This picture reminds me of your momma when she was your age...little apple cheeks.
    I love you,
