He is a funny little boy. Always laughing and asking questions and repeating everything, everything we say. He loves to turn the lights on and off. He loves to close the doors. He is totally into washing his hands right now. All.The.Time. He likes to sit on the potty and thinks he has peed or pooped just by merely sitting up there. He loves to talk about poop. Total boy. Man, was he excited when the polar near AND the elephant at the zoo both pooped right in front of him. He's still talking about it. He is becoming a pickier eater. He loves Thomas, Little Einsteins, Cars, Manny (Ice Age), toy trains, and Nemo. He loves to read his books. He has his favorites memorized by heart and recites them. Quite cute. Sometimes he'll even bust out into the Very Hungry Caterpillar in the backseat of the car. He loves Quillen (mcduff moves in), The Ice Cream King, Llama llama books, and any books about trucks. He is suddenly scared of things. We've had to put a nightlight in his room just recently. He has to take his termperature before nap and bed with the ear thermometer, and now he even takes mine now. The first time he used that thing, he used it correctly. He knows his prayers for mealtime and bedtime. Honestly there are very few things as sweet as his little voice saying the Lords Prayer. He will even call us out if we haven't said them. He calls us Mom and Dad these days. (Perhaps he's almost thirteen and not almost three). He loves his sister with all his heart. He wants to give her hugs and kisses, get her paci, read her books, push her stroller, give her her rattle, make her laugh, and he hates to hear her cry. She has just begun to really react to him, and it makes him so happy when she smiles, laughs, or coos at him. He is a little less cautious than he used to be, even climbing ladders and all sorts of other crazy things at the park. He loves to go to the pool, to the library, to Kroger (for a cookie of course), to the y, and even to the office, and on walks. His favorite animal is the rhinoceros. He loves fruit, oatmeal, "French toast tricks", "misses ghetti", Mac and cheese, tortillas, ice cream, chips, suckers, "handaburgers", "chepup", and pizza. He loves to FaceTime memaw and pepaw and mimi and Deda. And he gives the sweetest hugs and the best kisses. My favorite thing in the morning is to let a few minutes sneak by and fuss at him to come over to me "right now for my kiss." He drops what he is doing and skips over to me and gives me a big slobbery kiss. Love those kisses and love that he is willing to give them cause I'm sure the day when he doesn't want to will be here sooner than I wish.
Love you to the moon and back, big boy!!!
