21 months

Kirby and I went home for Thanksgiving and left Keith here in Fishers to work :(  (pictures and post of our travels are long overdue, I know!)  When we got back, Keith was amazed at the changes in Kirby.  I don't know if it was spending 4-5 days with 3 bigger cousins or what, but Kirby came home with new words, and he came home putting more and more words together.

Some of my favorite Kirby-isms that he's rocking at 21 months:

  • Bite-a-momma's plate/juice (he would like a nibble from your plate or a sip from your drink)
  • Ohhhhhhh, man!
  • Coat off.
  • Books go in box.
  • Choo choo nane (transl: choo choo train)
  • No cookie night (transl: no cookie tonight....apparently he asks for cookies a lot and I refuse them a lot!)
  • Pepaw arrrre YOUUUU?
  • Moooooooon areee youuuuu?
  • Chrimas twee pwetty (transl: Christmas tree pretty)
  • Mommy hep you outeeeeese (transl: Mommy, help you out please)
  • Choo Choo on?  Elmo on?  (typically these are said with a remote in his hand)
  • Botch Perttty?  (transl: Watch Percy...watch Thomas the Train)
  • Puppy outdide pottttty?
  • Guck go outdide?
  • Tuuuuushy huuuwt (transl: tushy hurt...dog gone diaper rashes)
  • Haaayyywwww Mawwwy (transl: Hail Mary)
  • Toys away, toys go back (as we clean up toys at the end of the night and get ready to go to bed)
  • Pitttttta??? Bish????  (Pizza and/or Fish are requested for E.V.E.R.Y. meal)
  • Peeeeeguck (transl: big truck)
  • JackJack ooouuuse.  Mowwwwary ouuuse.  (he loves to go to Jackson's and Mallory's house to play)
  • People park.  (he loves to go to the park, and he learned from his Happy Easter Curious George book that people are at the park.  When we drive past it, he cries now b/c he wants to go to the park.
  • Momma, Dada, or puppy poop poop poop.

Everyday there is something new that he's saying and doing, and he melts my heart.

These baby sayings, although precious now, will be even more precious years in the future especially when he will be able to read them himself.
