This year for Christmas, Kirby, Quillen (yes, I'm crazy enough to travel with a dog, and my parents and in-laws are crazy enough to let me) and I hopped in the car and headed south to spend Christmas with both our families. I spent almost 2 weeks in Middle Tennessee, and I wish I could have spent longer! We had such a great visit. We celebrated on 12/23 with Keith's immediate family at Grandma and Grandpa's, and then we spent Christmas Eve at Nannie's with all the Burns. What a great night. I missed Christmas Eve midnight mass, but we started a new tradition of attending the children's 5:00 mass. The kiddies were cute, I must say. I guess someday when Kirby is all grown up, and I head back to midnight mass, I'll say that I miss the children's early mass, right?
