Santa...I certainly didn't expect this reaction...

Today we went to the Indy Children's Museum with our good friends, the Kestners.  We got out of line earlier in the day because we had an imax showing of big bird and elmo, which Kirby seemed to think was cool!  After lunch, we came back to Winter Wonderland to find that Santa was taking a "Cookie and Cocoa" break and would be back in action at 3.  Kathleen and I stayed in line starting at 2:15 with the little boys, while the big boys took the girls to see the Barbie exhibit.    We were second and third in line.  Crazy, huh?  Oh, the things you'll do for your kids!  Santa made his appearance and chatted with Kirby on his way to his chair, and at 2:59, Santa was seated, and first family sat on his lap, and Kirby C.R.A.S.H.E.D. For those of you who know my social little butterfly who cannot fall asleep in a public setting, you'll appreciate these photos!!!  He had had a big day...can you tell???!!

Going...

Going...

Gone.  Seriously, happened in about 2 seconds.  Laughing one second; Asleep the next.

And oh so close!

I think Santa enjoyed this little dude!

I guess we'll be meeting Santa next year!
Upon retrieving him from Santa, he asked me to "leave Kirby on his lap and ask the rest to leave".  hahah.  I think he enjoyed a sleeping baby better than some of the crying kiddos he tends to get.  This was NOT the reaction I thought we were going to witness!!!!

At this stage of his life, sleep trumps visiting with Santa.
