I'm starting to feel so much more movement, especially during last week. I feel little kicks in the car, while sitting at my desk at work, and most especially in the evenings when I am in bed. I about drove Keith crazy Saturday night when I asked him about every 5 minutes to come to my chair and feel my belly. I was determined for him to feel this baby's movement before he was gone for a month. Unsuccessful.
We've had a busy couple of weeks, accomplishing a lot. Oh yeah, and by WE, I mean Keith.
Keith finished up away rotation #1 at Wake Forest and was home for a 2 week break...a 2 week break! Much to his dismay, I had a honey-do list that would have scared most men. This list included some of your typical housework; recovering a chair cushion; a pretty major car repair, which required him dropping me off at and picking up from work each day; painting furniture; laying mulch; painting a room; trips to God's Corner to donate oodles of things; and carrying mattresses and box springs down a flight of stairs and load them into a truck (by himself) to donate. Oh yeah, and dinners and spending lots of time with MEEEEEEE. Now, don't feel too sorry for the ole' lad. He managed to squeeze in some hunting, a few beers with the boys, foozeball, and a few more beers with the boys, and even more foozie.
These two weeks were way TOOO fast. Yesterday, he loaded up the car and headed south to go north to Lexington for away rotation #2. Thank you, KJ, the hostess with the mostest!! We both appreciate your hospitality during the upcoming weeks! :) I have a feeling yall are going to relive some pretty good Richland memories....my, there are many!!!! Keef Keef, I miss you already. So does Quillen!!
After all of his hard work, here's the beginning of he nursery. I didn't think to take a picture of the before. These pictures don't do justice to all the hard work Keith put into the project. Thank you, Keith, for a job well-done. It is really starting to come together. The crib should be here this week, and I'm gonna see if I can get it put it together to help this room REALLY come together.

| Check out that furniture. Trust me. It had a total face lift (appropriate for the aspiring plastic surgeon, right). |

ReplyDeleteLet Michael share a room or bed with Q, as I will be glad to share a room with Baby Holli. Q may snore, but surely the young Baby Holli will not snore, yet.
Dad/Deda
Well...my predictions are still holding...Come on Baby GIRL Hollister...To conduct the this old wives take you simply take your baby's heartrate in beats per minute (bpm) using a doppler or fetoscope and look at the chart:
ReplyDelete* Over 140 = girl
* Under 140 = boy
But will be ECSTATIC with either! Good thing huh?! Healthy, Happy, Baby Hollister!! Love you guys...
